The TMEA Clinic/Convention is the nation’s premier music educators convention.

The Convention provides unparalleled opportunities for professional development for current and future music educators at every level and discipline. Over 275 clinics and 100 performances are presented, and more than 400 companies exhibit products and services.
Also, the convention will include performances by ensembles at every grade level and will feature the rehearsals and performances of the TMEA All-State ensembles. The exhibit hall features over 1,500 booths and includes music instrument manufacturers, retailers, fundraising and travel companies, and much more.

Organizer
The Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) has worked to ensure excellence in music education for all Texas students. Over 13,000 school music educators are TMEA members belonging to one of five TMEA Divisions: Band, Orchestra, Vocal, Elementary and College.
TMEA’s stated goals are to provide professional growth opportunities, to encourage interaction among music education professionals, to foster public support for music in schools, to offer quality musical experiences for students, to cultivate universal appreciation and lifetime involvement in music, and to develop and maintain productive working relationships with other professional organizations.
