By custom, PaLA's annual conference moves around state. Our goal is to rotate to regional locations - east, west and central - that will allow PaLA members to attend a conference closer to home on a reasonably regular basis. But a perfect regional rotation is nearly impossible to achieve since final decisions by the board of directors must weigh all important factors including cost, availability of dates, and size and attractiveness of any conference facility.
The conference schedule includes 75+ conference sessions, 36 poster sessions, a 2-day Library Products & Services Tradeshow, and numerous opportunities for informal networking.
