Lancaster County Firemen's Association reported another successful FIRE EXPO SHOW and wishes to thank all who helped make it a success.
According to John Alexander, chairman of the Lancaster County FIRE EXPO committee there was a grand total of 17,344 in attendance for the 45th Annual FIRE EXPO Show held at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, Pa. May 17-18-19, 2019.
The attendance included 15,320 individual paid admissions plus 2,024 exhibitor paid admissions for their representatives and guests. The attendees had the opportunity to visit with a total of 339 exhibitors who participated by offering displays at 449 booth spaces and exhibiting some 196 some vehicles for a combined 646 spaces utilized. Since children under 10 are admitted free, the committee pointed out there were hundreds of uncounted future fire fighters also in attendance.
The Lancaster County Firemen's Association was Organized in 1921 and H. H. Shenck of Manheim was named president during the organizational period. The LCFA was Chartered May 26, 1923 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and the President at that time was Chief Frank Dean, Lancaster City FD.
The Lancaster County Firemen's Association currently has 89 Lancaster County Emergency Service Organizations as members and over 1,000 individuals who are members of these organizations who have chosen to be individual members of the LCFA.
